You kid- right?

Oh yeah. 12,000 words written in the last 36 hours. The plot still has some cohesion (definitely need a huge amount of editing to fix inconsistencies) but who cares! And I’m not even that far into the story yet. The main premise has been mentioned and explained in some detail BUT there are many events that will take place within the main premise. What started out as a short story seems to be growing arms and legs. Ha! The best part is that now I know I can write copies quantities in one siting I might be able to write my children’s book. Yay me!

Review: Hana

Hana by Lauren Oliver
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I think I read so many similar books that I foget which sequel goes with which prequel. I thought that this was a short novel that followed up from another book so I was obviously a bit disapointed when I couldn’t remember who the main character of this book was. I did find it interesting from a writing point of view – this is exactly the exercise that I have to do next week for my CWC. Write from another POV or a minor characters backstory. I read it so 3 stars.

Review: Do You Remember the First Time?

Do You Remember the First Time?
Do You Remember the First Time? by Jenny Colgan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is one of my guilty pleasure books. One for the days when you really should be doing the laundry or filing your paperwork. Honestly this book is much more fun. It’s premise sounds like it won’t work but it honestly does. The main character has her clock tuurned back and she wakes up aged 16. Not everything has gone back in time though and hilarity ensues.
